Daylight Landscape

Daylight Landscape, 2001

About Daylight Landscape:

"This tape initially offered a fissure in the visual mechanics of an exhibit of photographs titled Room To Live / Room To Disappear. The vast space and broad daylight of the video allows vision to sort of spill out unimpeded while negotiating a particular landscape. It's practically the inverse of how the photographs of the exhibit rendered space. The video is also enveloped in the quintessential motif used for the Los Angeles landscape - sunshine and palm trees - the photographic shorthand of postcards and movies."
