"Untitled 2000” was a performance film I made to document the use of an untitled sound sculpture I'd made the year before. This triangular coffee like table consisted of three main forms, a continuously recording audio tape loop, a cb radio and a tape recorder. The piece could in and of itself record and feedback on the ambiance of the space in which it was contained, while also inputting anything it received through the cb radio. The tape function served 2 purposes, one to document the audio created and the second to add another input device. The performance illustrates the sculpture as instrument, through record control levers you can influence the feedback and delay effects created by the audio loops 3 record heads. Also you could talk and interact with other CB radio users as well. The sculpture also featured in the long format video "Manville", 1999.
